The Association identifies itself with the fact that Hungary can develop with the help of the cooperation among the nations as a member of the European Union. We also consider very useful to get acquainted with other nations’ practice and to share our experience. Thus the Association intends to have active relationships with other countries’ professional organizations. It is of high importance to cooperate with the neighboring and Visegrád countries and the nations of the EU.

The presidential meeting of the international conference held on September, 2014 also had the goal to strengthen the international relationships. In the conference organized by HFA in Balatonföldvár the delegations of the neighboring and Visegrád countries’ firefighting organizations, the representatives of voluntary firefighters from Upper Hungary (Felvidék), Székely Land (Székelyföld) and Vojvodina (Vajdaság) discussed their experience about volunteering. We agreed that this cooperation will even have a more important role knowing the emergency cases caused by the weather in the 21st century.
